Chevy Mylink App List
I drove a '17 malibu hybrid a few months ago while my volt was in the shop. There are some aps you can download to your mobile device which then also can be managed using the mylink screen.

All you have to do is connect to the internet with onstar 4g lte wireless service or a different mobile hotspot. Controlling scenes and schedules is easy. All metadata and album art shows up on mylink screen. It's nice to see gm adding features. When i tried, there were only three apps listed (the weather channel one and two others that i don't recall).
The 7″ or 8″ chevy mylink color touchscreen display allows you to access navigation, apps, entertainment and contacts though voice commands or by touching the screen. The folks designing these services don't drive the cars daily. Select “pair device.” select “chevy mylink” from your phone’s bluetooth menu. They feel tedious, corporate, bloated with marketing, and a bare minimum in functionality.
The chevy mylink app store is actually known as chevrolet shop. It's pretty useless though, can't read it when the vehicle is moving and the text to voice sucks. My phone (motorola bionic) has 2 stock apps (my music and google play) which communicate well with the mylink system once its running but have been very inconsistent when trying to launch the app simply by pressing the bt source on the stereo.
